Rep. Tony McCombie was elected House Republican Leader on Nov. 15. McCombie has served in the General Assembly since her election in 2016. She is the former mayor of Savanna and also served as an alderperson.
She owns and oper- ates Blue Appraisals and is self-employed as a realtor with the Mel Foster Co.
McCombie earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University in Macomb, and is working on a master’s degree in public administration at the University of Illinois, Chicago.
McCombie and her husband, Curt, live in Savanna.
